The Idaho KINCARE Coalition is a cross-section of grandparents, relative caregivers, advocates, and agencies who are dedicated to improving the lives of kinship families and serving the best interests of the children.  We are strategic in engaging in partnerships that will influence public policy and engage communities statewide who will collaborate in providing services and supports to kinship families.

We advocate for legislation and rule changes that will provide financial help, supports and services to kinship families.

We work to increase public awareness as to the unique needs of kinship families and the impact of substance abuse on children and kinship families that care for them.

We become a clearing house for information though a virtual one stop.

We influence policy first through education of ourselves and strategically developing a strength positive platform and aligning with others.
